See you this Saturday June 4th at Penshurst Farmer Market

Thank you all Cherry Garden Farm shop customers for giving me another very warm welcome in your superb Kent countryside setting. The weather was not the best but we still managed to have our Gnocchi demonstration without any rain. I am planning to run another demonstration at Penshurst Farmer Market on August 6th. I will give you confirmation once the date gets approved by the market council. Please come to see me this coming Saturday June 4th where I will be waiting for you with Pansotti, ravioli, parma ham and ricotta ravioli, lasagne with locally produced asparagus, aubergines and parmigiana. I am going to bring my sourdough pizza as usual. See you there!

Grazie

See you this Saturday May21st at Cherry Garden Farm shop!

It was a pleasure seeing  you back at Penshurst on Saturday May 7th. My gazebo was nicely shaded from the strong sun which gave us another wonderful spring day. Although my location within the market was different than usual to shade my fridge from the sun, you still managed to find my stall and I thank you so very much for that. I am very much looking forward to seeing you all at Cherry Garden farm shop this Saturday.  Beside my usual stall, I will also be making Gnocchi right in front of your very eyes. It is such an easy dish to prepare especially when you have the right ingredients. I am spending this week eating Gnocchi almost every day so that I can try all different potatoes varieties Charry Garden is offering you. They are all delicious but some are better that other for this easy dish. Come at 12 noon and join me for 30/50 minutes of free demonstration and tasting. I only hope the weather stays mild and mainly not wet. See you then and…enjoying cooking your own food using your local freshly produced ingredients.

Please have a look at the leaflet I have posted. I will be at Penshurst Farmer Market on Saturday May 7th. I cannot believe  we are so close to May! Time truly flies.

Check my post closer to the date so that I will update you on what I will prepare this time.

Ciao a tutti!

See you at Cherry Garden Farm shop in Groombridge on Saturday April 16th!

A BIG THANK YOU to all my dear customers who came to my stall last Saturday at Penshurst.

I hope you enjoyed my food including my two “new entries” – Parma ham asparagus rolls- & – Grilled Aubergines Parma rolls-.

I am so very exited to announce I will be back at Cherry Garden farm shop in Groombridge on Saturday April 16th. Only yesterday I made wonderful  gnocchi for the family using Cherry Garden farm shop own grown potatoes. The result was so very good I can only give a full score to these two varieties of delicious tuberous. The consistency was perfect. They did not require much flour and the flavour was super good. All signs of a very high quality potato.  I now would like to show you how easy it is to make home made potato gnocchi  in a few minutes by only using your hands.  I am planning to run a demonstration very soon at Cherry Garden farm shop where you would also be able to have free sample gnocchi made in front of your eyes. I will leave some leaflets at the shop very soon. We will decide which Saturday to run this demonstration and hopefully you will get in touch with us letting us know if you have any interest in attending. Please do get in touch with us if you are interested in this event.

Thank you.

Lara

See you Saturday 2nd of April at Penshurst farmer Market

Wonderful sourdough Easter Colombe only cooked a few days before the market, my new PINK (sweet potatoes) sourdough pizza dough and my lasagne with Pesto from my home town Genova were all present last Saturday at Groombridge old railway staton market. I also made ravioli filled with Parma ham…a real treat! See you at Penshurst on Saturday the 2nd of April.

Ciao a tutti!

Finally a photo of my display!

The Pizza on the left has a pink dough due to the organic sweet potatoes variety I have found at Tablehurst farm shop. The orange bits on the top is the ordinary organic sweet potato variety…so many colours especially when it is raw.

What comment could I add to this picture? I am simply extremely proud of my sourdough which strength allows me to achieve the best results possible every time I use it. I cannot describe to you the wonderful aroma around my house when I cook them.

From a variety of pink/purple organic sweet potatoes produced at Tablehurst, here is my last new entry in sourdough pizza dough. PINK PIZZA!

Only one off chance given to those few lucky customers who bought this super treat. Now you understand why Genoa’s basil is the best in the world.
