Just the way it should be
Hi everyone! Another super big thank you to all Cherry Gardens Farm Shop customers who came to my stall the past Saturday in big numbers. My Venison Ravioli with venison ragu’ sauce was very well received and so was my “new entry” and very long awaited Mantovana Pumpkin filled pasta. This pumpkin is an Italian variety but it is grown right here in Groombridge’s own Cherry Gardens Organic Farm shop and also in Forest Row’s Tablehurst Organic Farm Shop. I will offer this second variety of organic filling for as long as this pumpkin will be available. I also brought for the very first time Aubergine Parmigiana which made a very short appearance as it literally sold in minutes. At Penshurst Farmers Market on November 7th I will bring a few different kinds of vegetarian Lasagne: one made with Italian porcini mushrooms and two mixed vegetables lasagne with a béchamel/fondue sauce and a very different goat cheese béchamel sauce. I will also start selling my Panettoni and will probably bring some wild boar themed dishes: either pasta filling or ragu’ sauce to accompany the pasta. My venison ravioli will also be there, considering I have several ways to cook venison, I will probably vary the recipe either of the sauce or the filling. I will see.
I hope to see you at Penshurst and do not forget you can place orders at any time!
Ciao
Lara
