Summer Update

Dear all, apologies for not having updated my website in the last four weeks or so. The end of school year and markets plus holiday in Italy really got in the way but I am back more vibrant than ever. I was at Cherry Gardens farm shop in Groombridge and at Penshurst in June. I saw many of you today at Penshurst and I thank you very much for coming to see me again. Today I brought new heart shaped pasta filled with organic ricotta from High Weald Dairy Farm and also my Torta Pasqualina savoury cake which was a great success. My gourmet sourdough pizza was also part of the display, and I am going to bring you a cereal dough version of this if you come to see me at Cherry Gardens in Groombridge (insert website) around about the middle of August. I will keep you posted with the precise date. I have attached some pictures below of my Dad’s 150 years old brick oven in our country house in Bandita-Piemonte, Italy as well as some other recent photos. I have used it during my visit to him only last week. We also baked a wonderful short crust cake called “Crostata,” and I cannot tell you what a difference a real wood fire makes when cooking food. Hopefully I’ll convince my husband to get me a brick oven here at home! See you at half August at Cherry Gardens and Penshurst at the beginning of September. Ciao. Lara
